CESENA
Cesena is a town in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It lies on the Savio River, and its surface stretches from the foot of the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea. Cesena was originally an Umbrian or Etruscan town, but it is during the period 1379-1465 that the town recovered and prospered, that is under the Malatesta. This noble family actually rebuilt the city centre and the marvellous Library. It is also worth visiting the Benedictine Abbey and the Malatestian castle, whereas the already vibrant historical centre becomes even more fascinating during St. John’s Fair, 24th June every year. The economy of the town is mainly centred on farming and the renowned gastronomy, but also more innovative sectors.

CESENATICO
Once a small fishermen village, modern Cesenatico still revolves around the Canal port, built at the beginning of 1300s. In the first half of 1500s Leonardo da Vinci was commissioned by duke Cesare Borgia the improvement of the port infrastructures with two additional docks. Nowadays the town is vibrant especially thanks to the many small restaurants specialised in seafood, and to the Museum of Navigation where several old ships are on exhibit.

CERVIA
A well-organised beach, bike paths, cheerful and fully equipped parks, the walkway along the canal port, good shopping and fishermen’s market all concur at making Cervia a hospitable and familiar place to stay. Definitely worth visiting the downtown offers the majesty of the Salt Warehouses (today hosting the Museum of Salt Civilization), St. Michael Tower, the Cathedral and the Town Hall. In Piazza Garibaldi there are usually many important events taking place, such as concerts or markets. You would not want to miss the Municipal Theatre, The Suffrage Church with its famous Callido organ, St. Anthony Church and Piazzetta Pisacane with the historical former Fishery. Particularly nice to see are the fountain called “il tappeto sospeso” (the hanging carpet), conceived by Tonino Guerra. In the millenary pine forest one may find the Spa of Cervia, whose therapies and treatments are up-to-date, and next to that the sea salt collection points.

RIMINI
This seaside city has for 160 years been a dream destination for many generations of tourists. Its secret lies in a successful combination of courtesy, hospitality of its inhabitants and a territory which offers something like a 15 km long beach, 1160 hotels, 230 different beach sectors, but also 2000 years of history and art. Here the sea takes on many different meanings: it is a way of living, it is the scenography of many Fellini’s movies, it is the fun and party destination, it is the magic of the winter sea. First of all, though, Rimini has been a sought after city for centuries, capital of a local lordship, a point of encounter for different cultures. It is definitely worth visiting the Augustus Arch and the Tiberius Bridge, Sigismondo Castle and the Malatestian Temple, the Roman Amphitheatre and the City Museum. Should anyone want also some time to relax, Rimini spa is located just in front of the free beach of Miramare.

RICCIONE
Riccione, the “Green Pearl” of the Adriatic, has always been a special holiday destination, a cult place, trendsetting point for many young generations especially in terms of outfits. Its world fame attracts many famous musicians or movie stars who would come here to see and especially be seen. The “Viale Ceccarini” beach, famous for its tents, spas, and countless events, together with the dolphin-arium and the popular Aqua parks (Aquafàn and Oltremare), all contribute to making Riccione a unique destination.

SAN MARINO
San Marino is located on top of the Titan Mount at 738 meters of height. The name of this mountain is at best paradoxical: indeed the Titans are giants in Greek mythology. San Marino is instead the tiniest sovereign state in the whole wide world, and it is quite proud of this record together with that of being the oldest one.
